I grew up just north of Cincinnati and have always been intrigued by the city's rich history. It wasn't until I got sent home from campus my freshman year of college at the University of Cincinnati that I picked up a camera. My mom had gifted me her old camera and a mix of curiosity and boredom led me to try something I never thought I would: photography. So, I took my Sony Alpha a6000 (which I still use) and a kit lens to explore Cincinnati's first neighborhood, Columbia-Tusculum.
I started posting my photos to @explore.cincinnati, an Instagram account I created in May of 2020. As my account gained traction, I delved even deeper into storytelling and photography, creating content on hundreds of historical sites, attractions, and local businesses in the Cincinnati region. Through my experiences running @explore.cincinnati, I've become a better photographer, writer, cook, sports fan, networker, and the list goes on. I've had the privilege of collaborating with inspiring business owners and creatives that make me so thankful to call Cincinnati home.
With FIFTYTWO CINCY, my aim is to showcase the essence of Cincinnati through the lens of a passionate local, celebrating each neighborhood's heritage and vision.

Photographer and blogger based in Northern Kentucky.
Originally from central Ohio, I lived in Charleston, WV and Dayton, OH before settling in the Cincinnati area.
I am a passionate adventurer with an eye for travel and lifestyle photography, an indie pop fan, and an avid camera gear connoisseur. In my downtime, I enjoy playing soccer, planning trips, and spending time with my girlfriend.
I started my photography journey back in 2017 and have worked diligently over the years to create my own distinct style. Photography is a creative outlet for me and has always been something I’ve wanted to build a career around, but I’ve struggled to find a way to do it. My goal with FIFTYTWO CINCY is to bring the unique perspective of someone who is still getting to know the city and experiencing things for the first time, all while capturing it in a way that (hopefully) no one else has.
